Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 3, 2026
Grow Love is built for two people, not for advertisers. This policy explains what the app stores and what it does not. In plain words: your relationship stays yours.
Data we store
Everything you create in Grow Love is stored locally on your device:
- Your and your partner's names and the date your relationship began.
- Your tree's growth, watering streaks, letters, time capsules and answered questions.
- Milestones and important dates you add to the calendar.
- App preferences such as your chosen theme (Meadow or Forest Night).
This data is saved on-device and is included in your normal encrypted device and iCloud backups if you have them enabled. We do not run our own servers for this content in the current version.
No tracking, no ads
- We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
- We do not sell, rent or share your data with anyone.
- We do not build advertising profiles or track you across other apps and websites.
The launch waitlist
If you enter your email on this website to be notified at launch, that address is used for one purpose only — to let you know when Grow Love is available. We do not send anything else to it, and we do not pass it to anyone.
The address is stored in Google Cloud Firestore (a Firebase service) together with the date you signed up, and nothing else — no name, no IP address, no cookie. It is deleted once the launch email has gone out, and you can ask us to remove it sooner by writing to the contact below.
Partner sync (coming later)
A future update will let couples sync between their devices. When that arrives, we will update this policy to describe exactly what is synced, how it is secured, and how you can turn it off. Nothing is synced to any server in the current version.
Children
Grow Love is intended for adults in a relationship and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles your data, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above.
